With a commitment to Australian manufacturing, Borg Manufacturing has three sites in New South Wales, Oberon, Charmhaven and Somersby. The Charmhaven site is the leading manufacturer of cabinet doors in Australia, utilising world class production and manufacturing techniques.

The three manufacturing sites are supported by a 25,000 m2 national warehouse and distribution facility at Somersby, NSW.

Borg Manufacturing's key customers include medium to large secondary manufacturers; decorative material and panel resellers and distributors; and its company owned distribution business, Polytec.

Borg also manufacture medium density fibre board (MDF) at a state of the art facility in Oberon. The current range of Customwood MDF products include standard MDF, Moisture Resistant MDF, and E0 (Low Formaldehyde Emitting) MDF. The Oberon facility also manufactures Ultraprime MDF Mouldings and Readicote Door Skins.

The company is in the process of constructing a high volume, technologically advanced particleboard production facility in Oberon. This line, scheduled to be fully commissioned in 2019, will be capable of producing a broad range of particleboard products.

Experiencing significant growth over the past 30 years, Borg Manufacturing has continued to invest in leading edge, world class machinery across its three manufacturing sites. Ensuring the production of the highest quality product in the most cost effective manufacturing processes is integral to Borg's intent of delivering superior value to its customers.

  2. Continuous improvement of Business Systems and Processes
  3. Excellence in Customer Service
  4. Development of leading brands through market research, product innovation and development
  5. Workplace Safety and Protection of the Environment
  6. Consistent and Contemporary Values, Ethics and Behaviours

Borg Manufacturing is making a difference in our sector. As a growing vertically integrated company we see significant value in innovation and new product development which, in turn, fuels the investment in automated technologies and efficient manufacturing processes. It is a formula that requires vision and long term commitment – the build is as important as the outcome.

The company will continue to strive to be the leading participant in the sector, providing all stakeholders with the confidence that they are part of a successful, growing Australian business enterprise.
